As you are aware, myself and my husband have been trying for a baby for almost 21/2 years without any luck. After many tests, both of us were told that nothing was wrong with us that the specialists could see.... The hospital put me on Clomid to help regulate my periods..... but this drug did not work. After another visit, the consultant put me on Metformin, but this drug made me ill so I could not carry on using it.
The next stage was for us to have IUI treatment which would cost £800 per treatment ......as the NHS would not fund the treatment.
